Meet the Honey Girls 🍯
At Honey Wellness Collective, we’re a little bit clinical, a little bit chaotic, and a whole lot of heart.
The Honey Girls are the registered nurses and paramedics behind Honey Wellness Collective. We may have different backgrounds, personalities, and specialties, but we share one goal: to make taking care of yourself feel a little less clinical and a lot more comfortable.
We believe wellness care can be professional without feeling sterile, medically guided without feeling intimidating, and personalized without feeling complicated.
Our team brings years of healthcare experience to the lounge, with backgrounds in emergency medicine, critical care, patient education, aesthetics, and wellness. We take what we do seriously—but we don’t believe you have to take yourself too seriously while you’re here.
When you walk into Honey, we want you to feel like you can exhale. Ask questions. Laugh with us. Kick your feet up. Stay awhile. Whether you’re here for an IV infusion, a vitamin injection, NAD+, medically guided weight management, red light sauna therapy, or simply trying to feel a little more like yourself again, you’ll have a Honey Girl there to help guide you.
And somewhere along the way, this group of women became more than coworkers. We became a family—and our clients have become a pretty special part of that family, too.
We’re proud to care for our communities in Clayton and Goldsboro, North Carolina, and even prouder that so many of you trust us with your wellness.
We’re your Honey Girls. 💚🍯
Sweet Relief. Lasting Wellness.
🍯Meet Sara Lacombe
Founder & Wellness Director
Sara Lacombe, BSN, RN, is the founder and owner of Honey Wellness Collective. She graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2009 and has spent her entire career caring for others.
Sara began her nursing career in oncology and hospice, where she spent two years caring for patients and families through some of the most difficult seasons of their lives. In 2011, she transitioned into emergency medicine and quickly found a field she truly loved. Her passion for emergency nursing eventually led her to travel nursing in 2013, giving her the opportunity to work in different hospitals, communities, and clinical environments while building more than a decade of experience in emergency care.
But the most defining moments of Sara’s life have happened outside of the hospital.
Sara and her husband, Thomas, are the parents of four incredible children: Bella, Sawyer, Romy, and Magnolia. When their son Romy passed away at just 2 years and 4 months old, Sara’s entire perspective on life changed. Losing Romy reshaped the way she viewed time, family, purpose, and what she wanted the rest of her life to look like. She knew she needed to create a life that allowed her to continue caring for people without sacrificing so much of the time she had with the people she loved most.
In 2024, their daughter Bella was diagnosed with cancer, and the family entered another deeply difficult and life-altering season. During that time, the love, support, and strength of the Honey Wellness community became an unexpected lifeline. The encouragement, care, and connection they received from clients, staff, and the broader community carried them through in ways they will never forget. Sara often reflects that without that support, she is not sure they could have made it through that season the way they did—or that Honey would still be the thriving, growing business it is today.
Sara continued working in emergency medicine through her pregnancy with Magnolia, but she began searching for a different path—one that would allow her to use her nursing experience while building a life centered more around her family than her job.
When Magnolia was just three months old, Sara started her IV therapy business in 2024.
What began as a career transition became something much bigger.
In March 2026, Sara was finally able to step away from hospital nursing and devote herself full-time to Honey Wellness Collective. Today, she works between Honey’s two locations, where she has discovered that family can extend far beyond the walls of your own home. Through Honey, she has found another family in the clients, staff, and community who have become such an important part of her life.
At the heart of Honey Wellness Collective is Sara’s faith and a truth that has carried her through some of the darkest and most beautiful seasons of her life: God will provide. There is honey in the rock.
Honey represents finding sweetness even in difficult places, trusting that provision can come when you least expect it, and believing that life can still become beautiful after it has looked very different than you imagined.
Sara’s own life has changed tremendously since entering the wellness industry. She is happier, healthier, more in tune with her body, and more intentional about creating a life that allows her family to live their brightest, healthiest, fullest lives possible.
And that is exactly what she wants for every person who walks through Honey’s doors.
For Sara, Honey Wellness Collective isn’t simply about IVs, injections, or wellness services. It is about helping people feel better, understand their bodies, prioritize themselves, and create healthier lives without feeling judged or unheard.
After spending a career caring for people on some of their worst days, Sara now gets to help people invest in more of their good days.
And she can’t imagine a better way to spend this chapter of her life.
🍯Dr Robert Kilpatrick
Medical Director
Dr. Kilpatrick attended Medical School at the Medical College of Wisconsin before completing his training at the University of Nevada and University of Iowa, respectively, and has practiced medicine and directed programs in the area of pediatric emergency medicine for over 20 years.
During that time, he developed an acute interest of the impacts of nutrition and proactive management of nutrition, exercise, and preventative medicine, and on the quality of life of children and longevity as a field. He has expanded this into owning clinics that focus on longevity, in conjunction with aesthetics, to best improve the quality of life and long-term outlooks for his patients. He now serves as director and educator in this exciting field of practice.
